So Sinner comes out today. BUY IT!!!!! Well, if you've read the Shiver Series, that is. Cole was probably my favorite character in the Shiver series. He was so colorful and his character exploded off the pages.
And now he has his own book. *sparkly hearts*
In Sinner, Cole heads to California to be with Isabel. He has decided he is madly, hopelessly in love with her and can't live without her. Sam has warned Cole not to start a new pack and Cole says he won't. But he does.
But it's not of wolves. Cole collects strays, people who are on the fringes one way or the other. It's amazing how when he's Cole the rock star, people gravitate towards him because of who they think he is. But when's he Cole as himself, he attracts other who are partially broken like he is. But they all fill a void in each other by being friends. I adored this side of Cole, the caring, I don't care if you are a middle age limo driver, you're going to be my friend Cole. The I will do whatever I can to win you over because I've never loved anyone like I love you Cole. The you've seen me at my worst and I promise I will never go back there Cole. We see all of the sides of Cole and there aren't many that I don't like.
And we see Isabel. Tragic, lovely Isabel. When she finally let go, I cried and cried and cried. When that mask fell off, even briefly, my heart jumped. I thought, "This is it! She's showing she is human!" Then it was gone.
I hope there are more books with Cole and Isabel, but I want them to be happy together forever.
This was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I read it in one sitting. Make sure you have several hours free if you start reading this book.
